AUDREY represents THE BEAUTIFUL STRENGTH OF NOBILITY
Audrey is the Anglo-Norman form of the Anglo-Saxon name Æðelþryð, composed of the elements æðel "noble" and þryð "strength". As a species, "Little Audrey" also known as Hemerocallis, owes its name to the Greek words hemera (day) and kallos (beauty) as each flower lasts but one day. Audrey represents the strength of being noble on a daily basis and the beauty that emerges from it.
